However, despite increased frequency of airlines, expansions planned by destination management companies, news of <strong class="StrictlyAutoTagBold">OTA</strong>’s merging & acquisitions and finalizing of newer tourism products, the growth of tourism Industry remained low, all thanks to undesirable internal and external developments.</div>

Recorded data shows only 58.99 Lakh tourists visited <strong class="StrictlyAutoTagBold">India</strong> owing to several unfavorable factors including recession, visa issues, global terror threats, high service tax, hike in air tickets and so on. All the factors have led to limited growth in comparison to 7% growth of 2011.</div>
